needles: US 11 (8mm) dpns, or size needed to obtain gauge

yarn: 76 yards (70 metres), 125g of chunky weight yarn 
sample shown in sunflower knit’s marshmallow (100% superwash merino, 76 yards 70 metres, 125g) x 1 skein in logwood

notions: tapestry needle, 4x stitch marker, cable needle (optional)

gauge: 10 stitches x 12 rows = 4” (10cm), over stockinette, worked in the round, blocked
