one of the most forceful signs, a leo moon is ruled by the sun and sits confidently in a generous and enthusiastic emotional life. you care deeply about those you love, but must be careful to not fall prey to the shadow side of this sign and resort to pettiness and arrogance when insulted. your emotions are tied tightly to your pride, and you thrive in situations where you can show off your personal strengths.

the leo shawl uses an adapted crescent shape to create a bright yellow lion’s mane, thanks to the natural brilliance of tansies, and features a bold centre cable panel with a picot edge as a nod to the sun’s rays.

needles: US 5 (3.75mm) 32” (80cm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

yarn: 864 yards (790 metres), 224g of fingering weight yarn
