this pattern is a fabulous stashbuster, and depending on the yarn in your stash and how large your eating surfaces are, you can easily increase the sizes of your mats and mug rugs to accommodate any impromptu picnic!

needles: US 8 (5mm) 24” (60cm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

hook: H-8, or size needed to obtain gauge

yarn: 1150 yards (1052 metres), 150g of laceweight yarn AND 46 yards (42 metres), 10g of fingering weight yarn TOTAL
