berrypicking is almost a mandatory summer activity in canada. blackberries and blueberries and saskatoons are all delicious, but there’s just something about the tartness of a raspberry. this shawl is knit top-down with a berry-esque lace stitch, and edged off along one side with a leaf border for some asymmetrical interest. wear it in the colder months to remind yourself of warm summer days.

needles: US 9 (5.5mm) 32” (80cm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

yarn: 650 yards (590 metres), 280g of worsted weight yarn
